IF you're looking for a cape for a costume on a limited budget, this works, it's not great, but functional. I've based my review upon it's price point, considering its presently on sale on Amazon for £6.99 and that's including delivery!!! The fabric is very thin, not finished at the seams, apart from the hood. It doesn't wrap around you unless you're small and thin! Be aware that the advertised photos are misleading it looks like a much thicker / none transparent cape, it's NOT. If you're after a cape towards building up some cosplay / Halloween garments this isn't it. Sure if you have some skills then it could be made much better, but if that's the case then I'd personally start off with a better cape? 4/5 Good value, looks fine...

This cape is currently £7.99. That is £2.99 more than a cup of coffee. This is the basis for my four star review. It is obviously cheap and cheerful. The material is very thin, the hood is hemmed but not the whole cape. It is long in length, but not particularly large for one size and will not fit larger frames (by larger i'm guessing size 14 plus). The ties are also not the best quality, but they do the job. My biggest issue with this cape is not the quality, as that is exactly what i was expecting for the price. It is that the pictures and description misrepresent the quality. If you are after a cheap and cheerful Halloween cape, perhaps to be worn once or twice and you are slim, this might be for you. If you are after a good quality cape that will look good and last a long time, avoid this. It's £7.99.

This was a disappointment I must say. The material is very thin and feels awful on your skin. The ties at the collar are almost like bits of paper and it doesn't tie very well. I am 5'10'' and this feels small even though it's one size. The photos are certainly deceptive, be warned!

Definitely a one off use cloak, maybe two events. If you have a sawing machine, I would recommend you hem it as its already fraying just from taking it out of its packet. The hood has been hemmed, it makes no sense, why not just hem the full thing. I'm 5"10 and its too short. Perfect for 5"8. The material is also very thin. So as a Cosplayer and a man who enjoys costumes, I see this getting wrecked at the 1st Haloween party. But its cheap. And Definitely something you could improve in 10 minutes with a sawing machine. Unlike other reviewers, I like this cape. The velour material is thin, but it feels soft. I'm 5'2" and it's slightly too long on me, but I could get the sewing machine out and hem it up a few inches. The ties at the neck are also a bit of an odd crispy fabric, so I might add something better there. The main issue is the cloak will probably be too small for many people - it will only meet across the chest if you are a UK size 10 at the most. I think I can make this work, and I like a little project, but it's definitely for slim people.
