This is a really beautiful super dressy shawl / cape. Like the title says, it really is like wearing a butterfly! I’d say you have two uses for something like this: firstly as fancy dress / cosplay for a very retro costume, or actual ‘proper’ wear as a topper to a simple black dress or black trouser outfit, letting the shawl be the star of the show. The green is just glorious. So, so, so pretty. It’s made of a mixture of sheer black netting and green sequin applique with a ziz-zag flouted edge on the bottom. It’s one size only, and fastens to the front with a tiny silver hook and eye. I’m not sure how many occasions I’ll have to wear this, but I’ll feel like a (butterfly) princess when I do.

This is a lovely cape/shawl with sequin and bead detailing which gives the cape a beautiful effect. The cape is one size but it fits me (size 12) perfectly. Not too tight fitting over my shoulders or anything like that. There is a discreet fastening to the front which keeps the cape secure. It is hand wash only but to be fair that was something I expected because of all the beads etc. Overall this cape is ideal as a cover up, shrug or you could even use it if you were going for a 1920s theme. It is comfortable to wear and isn’t itchy or anything like that. All in all a delicate, lovely cape that looks perfect paired with my black dress. I’m happy with it!

I am not a fan of this bolero, it feels cheap and is really only good for a costume box. It does not have sleeves it just goes over your shoulders and clips at the front. I do not like this and will not be wearing it. My husband put it on as well and it fit him so if you have broad shoulders it will fit but I am not a fan so won't be wearing it.

The Great Gatsby is one of my favourite novels ever, and for many years I’ve thought about having a 1920s style ‘Gatsby’ party. I think this shawl is my excuse to do just that! It is absolutely gorgeous and really well made. The sequins and gems are fastened very well and the whole thing feels very good quality. It would compliment a flapper style dress for a vintage feel but could be used equally well with a modern dressy outfit. It is incredibly glamorous and will definitely be a stunning addition to an ourfit.

I got this for my wife, and being the sort of man who usually gets this sort of thing wrong I was delighted when she said it was lovely! It's really quite well made, with the sequins carefully and accurately attached, and the black and gold variant which I chose will go well with any number of colours. It's a nice accessory for those Christmas parties and other special events. It's clearly "dressy" rather than practical - it won't keep you warm - but I certainly think it looks good, and if my wife says so too, it must! Recommended.

Lovely sequined cape. The picture gives the impression it is heavy but it isn't. Despite all the sequins it's lightweight and comfortable too wear. Once in position it doesn't move. Looks gorgeous against my black evening dress. Will get a lot of wear out of this on my cruises in the formal evenings.
